What is Zopto?

Zopto dashboard
Source: Zopto

As we’ve mentioned earlier, Zopto is a LinkedIn automation tool that promises its users lots of hot new leads – or job candidates if you're a recruiter.

However, it seems that Zopto simply offers features that most decent LinkedIn automation tools have by default – no more and no less – while at the same time grossly overpricing its services.

To evaluate whether Zopto’s really worth the cost, we’ve taken into account its main advantages, shortcomings, and, of course, its price.

What Are The Advantages Of Using Zopto?

When it comes to Zopto’s vital features, there are several worth noting:

  • It’s cloud-based – as such, it’s both safer and easier to use since it doesn’t require your device to be turned on at all times;
  • It can scrape email addresses – making it possible to bypass LinkedIn connection requests and message limits via email;
  • Depending on your pricing plan, you can get a dedicated Customer Success Manager – that way, you get an extra hand in your campaigns;
  • It can automate most of the basic actions on LinkedIn – that way, it saves you the precious time you’d waste on tedious tasks.

What Are The Shortcomings of Zopto?

Unfortunately, despite its bold claims that it’s the “#1 LinkedIn automation tool”, Zopto comes with quite a few faults, including but not limited to:

  • It requires that its users have LinkedIn Premium or Sales Navigator – most of Zopto’s functionalities simply won’t work unless you pay for a more advanced LinkedIn plan, which means extra costs for you;
  • It falls short when it comes to LinkedIn limits – the only way it can work around the restrictions is through email and InMail. If, however, your prospect doesn’t have an open profile, or has chosen not to receive InMail in their message preferences, you won’t be able to send an InMail either way, in which case this feature becomes pointless;
  • It doesn’t have enough native filters – that’s why it requires you to have at least a Premium, or even better, a Sales Navigator account, as it mainly uses LinkedIn filters for search and prospecting;
  • It doesn’t have a free trial – Zopto offers only a demo, which can hardly be enough for actually putting it to the test;
  • Its pricing is outrageous – especially if you’re an individual or a start-up. Truth be told, even agencies and sales teams could put their budgets to much better use rather than overpaying for LinkedIn automation, especially when you consider the fact that they don’t offer anything special for the cost to be justified;
  • It doesn’t automatically withdraw pending connection requests – you have to do it manually, and it’s one of those features most users would prefer to be automated. Just imagine the time it would take you to double-check for yourself how many pending requests you have and delete them after.
  • Customer support – despite Zopto’s claims that it has military-grade customer support service, in truth, many users can testify that it is not as fantastic as it seems. And not only that: there have been reports of Zopto refusing to cancel subscriptions, which only adds insult to injury;
  • Its interface is not as intuitive as we’d like – and there is no extensive learning base that would help new users learn the ropes.

How much does Zopto cost?

Zopto pricing
Source: Zopto

Zopto offers 3 pricing plans, and the one thing they all have in common is that they all cost a fortune.

Those plans are as follows:

  • Personal at $215/mo that has only 1 account included;
  • Grow at $395/mo that has 2 accounts included;
  • Enterprise & White-label at $895/mo that has 5 accounts included.

If you want to add more accounts, you have to pay extra. The more accounts you add, the cost per account will be lower.

There’s also a discount if you pay quarterly.

To make matters more interesting, the only real difference between these plans is that you get a dedicated Customer Success Manager if you choose one of the two more expensive plans. The question of whether you in fact need such a feature immediately arises, as most agencies and sales teams already have their own experts and managers in-house.

That’s one of the reasons why, in our opinion, providing a Customer Success Manager nowhere near justifies the difference in price between the basic and advanced plans.

And to top it all off, Zopto doesn’t even offer its prospective users a free trial, which means there’s no way you can check whether the tool is the right fit for you in advance. You’d have to pay for at least a month’s subscription to try it out, which isn’t the most economical of options.

Verdict: Is Zopto Worth It?

The thing that most users find striking from the start – just as we did – is Zopto’s price. Their plans make you wonder what is so special about this particular tool to make up for the cost.

Truth be told, Zopto doesn’t offer any exceptional features that make it stand out from the crowd. It has the most basic functionalities you’d expect from a LinkedIn automation tool in the first place.

Its most significant advantage by far is that it’s cloud-based and not a Chrome extension, which makes it more difficult for LinkedIn to discover it and ban you as a result. However, this doesn’t really give Zopto an edge over its other cloud-based competitors, as all of them are at least as equally safe - if not even safer.

Getting a dedicated Customer Success Manager - provided you pay extra, of course - is also something a number of users may find appealing, since having extra guidance can help in managing your LinkedIn outreach.

In addition, its email scraping feature can also come in handy, especially when you consider that emails and InMails are practically the only way Zopto can bypass LinkedIn limitations. That means that without this feature, Zopto would be totally incapable of providing you with the one feature that’s crucial for any user who’s serious about getting more sales on LinkedIn.

In the end, the price tag and the overall value-for-money ratio put us off the most when it comes to Zopto, as this tool just doesn’t provide its users with any cool new feature that would make the cost at least acceptable.

So, unless you have a hefty budget and no better way of spending it, or you really need a manager to help you wrap your head around automated outreach, it would be better to opt for some other tool from our list.

What Are The Advantages Of Using Salesrobot?

Even though Salesrobot has plenty of features to offer its users, these are some of the crucial functionalities that stand out the most:

  • Foolproof methods of bypassing LinkedIn message limits allow you to send more than 200 messages and connection requests per day. In addition to using email and InMail, Salesrobot also sends bulk messages to group members and event attendees. By doing that, Salesrobot enables you to work around the LinkedIn 100 weekly limit in a safe and legitimate way that won’t get you banned;
  • Outstanding message personalization – Salesrobot has countless options for personalizing every possible activity on LinkedIn, especially when it comes to messages and requests. Here’s an example of how Salesrobot can automatically personalize all of your LinkedIn connection requests:

As you can see on the right, this connection request has an acceptance rate of 65% on average.

And suppose, for any reason, Sales Robot can’t personalize your connection request for a particular prospect this way. In that case, you can always set up different LinkedIn connection messages - and Sales Robot will automatically choose the one that makes the most sense:

  • Safety first - Salesrobot takes personal care of its users’ safety, as its automation mimics human activity almost to perfection. It achieves this by randomizing activity, skipping holidays and weekends, making delays between actions, and minding LinkedIn limits. You can also schedule and gradually increase your activity to avoid raising any LinkedIn algorithm flags. In addition, it is entirely cloud-based, making it practically undetectable by LinkedIn;
  • Creating smart campaign and message sequences – you can make them from scratch or use one of the ready-made templates that are fully customizable to fit every goal and purpose. The sequences are based on your lead’s behavior, so there’s no chance for embarrassing missteps, such as sending a follow-up even when the lead’s already answered your first message;
  • Clean, simple, and intuitive interface providing excellent user experience - even if you’re a complete beginner in LinkedIn automation, you’ll manage to find your way with this tool in no time. Simplicity is critical when it comes to automation software, and Sales Robot’s team is well aware of that;

  • Seamless integration with many CRMs;
  • Warm-up feature - to increase your chance of successfully creating lucrative business connections;
  • Constant updates and innovation that follow LinkedIn changes and the ongoing trends in outreach marketing and lead generation.

What The Cons Of Salesrobot?

Despite having many excellent features, it wouldn’t be fair to claim that Salesrobot is flawless, as it does have certain shortcomings:

  • GIF and image personalization isn’t as advanced as in some other tools – although Salesrobot has an option for creating unique content through integration with Hyperise, the visuals are not as customizable and original as they could be;
  • The price – Salesrobot comes with only one pricing plan. However, the value you're getting for your money is more than enough to justify the price - considering that you get a flawless UI with A-grade customer support and a steady stream of warm leads, thanks to Salesrobot’s numerous personalization features. Moreover, Sales Robot’s team intends to include another plan at $99 per month in the near future, to add some more versatility.

How much does Salesrobot cost?

At the time, Salesrobot provided its customers with the option to select from three distinct subscription levels, each of which had a unique set of capabilities.

Plan offered by Salesrobot is $99 per month, respectively, for a monthly payment.

If you want to pay for your membership on a yearly basis, you will immediately receive an extra discount of 20% applied to your card.

In addition to that, a Pay Per Lead option is at your disposal. You can select at your convenience. In addition to this, those interested in learning more about the platform can sign up for a free trial that lasts for fourteen days.

When is Salesrobot the right Zopto alternative for you?

Although both Salesrobot and Zopto have some cool features and functionalities for LinkedIn outreach, there are several areas in which Salesrobot has a stark edge over Zopto.

First and foremost, Salesrobot offers several methods of working around LinkedIn restrictions that are not limited to email and InMail alone but include messaging group members and event attendees. In addition, those methods are altogether legitimate and do not put you at risk of being penalized.

And the best part? You can send up to 200 messages and requests daily - which is far more than the weekly 100 you get on LinkedIn!

Secondly, Salesrobot’s latest generation AI is a force to be reckoned with. The AI does everything an actual person would do, only faster, so there’s no chance in hell your leads will figure out you’re using an automation tool.

Salesrobot is more than fit to take notice of the tiniest of detail from your prospect’s LinkedIn profile and make the best possible use of it by initiating warm, highly personalized conversations and engaging your leads in further interaction with you. All the while, Salesrobot takes careful notice of the daily limits and delays between activities you’ve set up.

That way, Salesrobot serves you with a constant flow of hot new leads and helps create invaluable business connections which enable you to close more deals easily.

Salesrobot also never forgets about its users’ safety – that’s why it is both entirely cloud-based and makes sure to imitate typical human behavior to perfection. By choosing Sales Robot, you get the best of both worlds – more leads pouring down your pipeline regularly while staying 100% clear of LinkedIn penalties.

Furthermore, Salesrobot is much more user–friendly than Zopto. Its interface is simple and very straightforward, so you don’t have to be a LinkedIn outreach veteran to get the most of it.

Moreover, suppose you happen to have any issue or a question about the software. In that case, Salesrobot’s customer support service is there for you 24/7, making sure to solve any and every problem in the shortest time possible.

Creating, customizing, and adjusting smart sequences and all-around campaigns has also never been easier, precisely thanks to Sales Robot’s outstandingly simple UI that makes tuning everything you need to your business goals effortless.

2. Linked Helper: Best Zopto alternative if you need a very affordable tool

Linked Helper campaign
Source: Linked Helper

Linked Helper is one of the LinkedIn automation tools that’s been around for quite some time. In fact, Linked Helper has only recently been updated as Linked Helper 2.

Whereas Linked Helper was a Chrome extension, Linked Helper 2 is an app you have to download and install on your device.

Linked Helper 2 is promoted as a tool for LinkedIn automation that can be used by not only sales reps and marketers but also recruiters, as it works with all LinkedIn platforms, from basic to Premium, Sales Navigator, and Recruiter.

What Are The Advantages of Linked Helper?

Linked Helper offers pretty much all the essential features you’d expect from an automation tool, but its most significant strengths are the following:

  • Pricing – as it’s very affordable, especially when it comes to the standard plan. It also has a 14-day free trial, which is another plus;
  • Plenty of automation options – ranging from scraping profiles and going over LinkedIn weekly invitations limit, to building smart message sequences, warming up leads, and withdrawing pending requests;
  • It works with all of LinkedIn platforms, including not only Sales Navigator and Recruiter but also basic LinkedIn profiles;
  • It has a free knowledge base that includes both articles and video tutorials – although some of the articles are not as clear and comprehensive as they should be, especially when it comes to more complex issues;
  • Robust customer support.

What are the Shortcomings Of Linked Helper?

Several things raise suspicion when it comes to Linked Helper and its proclaimed success, and these struck us as the most problematic:

  • Safety – in addition to the fact that Linked Helper is not cloud-based, which equals to a much higher risk of being detected and getting your account permanently banned by LinkedIn, there’s another huge red flag concerning the message limit. Namely, one of the ways Linked Helper surpasses the limits is using an “undocumented LinkedIn feature”. That feature comes with a disclaimer in one of the Linked Helper User manual articles that warns the user that opting for this method could get them banned in a blink of an eye. So much for taking care of their users’ safety.
  • It’s an app you have to download and install on your device – consequently, Linked Helper is prone to slowing your computer down more often than not. In addition, your device has got to be turned on at all times for it to run properly;
  • Poor UX/UI – as it has a very unintuitive interface, a pretty steep learning curve, and it looks a bit dated;
  • Despite claiming to have an email scraping option in-app, it actually requires integration with Snov.io – which amounts to bringing more additional costs to the table;
  • There is no hyper-personalization of messages possible in-app – to personalize messages, you have to integrate with Uclic. That means that you have to pay extra to use this software. And not only that, the integration with Uclic is anything but seamless, as it requires the use of HTML or CSS.

How much does Linked Helper cost?

Linked Helper pricing
Source: Linked Helper

Linked Helper offers two pricing plans:

  • Standard at $15 per month;
  • Pro at $45 per month.

If you pay for 3, 6, or 12 months in advance, there are additional discounts.

Linked Helper also offers a 14-day free trial, so prospective users can take it for a test drive before deciding to buy.

Although the Standard plan is quite a steal if you want the whole deal – that is, all of the features it has to offer – it would be wiser to go for Pro. This plan provides users with many more options, especially when it comes to data export, CRM integration, lead generation, and bulk engagement.

When is Linked Helper the right Zopto alternative for you?

Linked Helper definitely has some pros to it as it offers almost all the automation options an average LinkedIn user might need.

Linked Helper’s customer support is also on point, as they try to make their services available to their users at all times.

However, it’s Linked Helper’s cost that really makes it stand out. This tool is by far one of the cheapest on the market, but that comes with a price of its own.

Namely, safety is the one area where Linked Helper is greatly lacking compared to Zopto and other cloud-based tools on our list, as it is an app you have to download and install on your device. That makes it all the more likely for LinkedIn to detect the use of automation, and it also requires your device to stay on all the time if you want your campaigns to keep running.

Not to mention the “undocumented LinkedIn feature” for bypassing LinkedIn limits, which sounds particularly dubious.

In addition, cheap as the tool itself may be, you’ll have to pay extra for Uclic and Snov.io subscriptions if you want to be able to personalize messages and scrape emails.

When you compare it to Zopto, one thing is obvious – you’ll save a lot of money if you decide for Linked Helper, at the risk of being banned by LinkedIn and having to struggle with an app that can be glitchy and slow down your device.

So, if you want a tool that offers all the basic automation functionalities at a bargain price - and are comfortable with not being as safe as you would be by opting for a cloud-based tool - then Linked Helper is the suitable Zopto alternative for you.

3. Lemlist: Best Zopto alternative for email outreach

Lemlist is your go-to tool when you want to master cold email outreach, as it promises its users the optimal cold email conversion rate.

Lemlist offers solutions primarily for email outreach and personalization, including creating email drip campaigns and tracking your email deliverability.

When it comes to LinkedIn outreach though, Lemlist is not as great - as we’ll shortly see.

Lemlist test campaign
Source: Lemlist

What Are The Advantages Of Lemlist?

Some of Lemlist’s most impressive features are:

  • Email domain warm-up – Lemlist gives you a slow start and progressively increases the number of emails they send to prospects. Moreover, its algorithms make sure that everything flows smoothly and keep you out of spam by maintaining conversation threads and pulling your mail back to the primary inbox if it does end up in spam;
  • Setting up timeframes in which emails are sent as well as daily team limits to prevent sending more than the desired number of emails;
  • Allows team syncing, so all of the data is easily accessible and comprehensive to everyone in the team;
  • Gives reports on your campaign performance with all the necessary real-time insights;
  • Has an abundant base of cold email templates;
  • Creates custom landing pages for every prospect.
Lemlist follow up test
Source: Lemlist

What Are The Shortcomings of Lemlist?

On the other hand, Lemlist does have some severe faults to it:

  • Lemlist is significantly lacking when it comes to LinkedIn outreach – Lemlist was not primarily intended for LinkedIn outreach. However, some time ago, Lemlist devised a LinkedIn Chrome extension. Given that it’s a browser extension, its use exposes you to a big risk of being detected and banned by LinkedIn. Moreover, you only get the extension if you opt for the most expensive pricing plan;
  • Data reports are not as insightful and comprehensive as they should be;
  • The interface often glitches and is pretty unintuitive, making it hard for new users to get around;
  • There are free learning resources to an extent, but if you want insight into the really good stuff, you’re going to have to pay as much as $797 for a masterclass;
  • Poor customer service.
Lemlist pros and cons
Source: Lemlist

How much does Lemlist cost?

Lemlist pricing
Source: Lemlist

Lemlist has 3 pricing plans:

  • Email warm-up at $29 per month;
  • Email outreach at $59 per month;
  • Sales engagement at $99 per month.

The prices are somewhat lower should you opt for annual billing. There’s also a special offer for lead gen agencies, but the exact amount is not disclosed on the official website.

If you are serious about acing your email outreach game, though, you’ll have to go for one of the two pricier plans. The basic one will leave you with next to nothing since all the vital tools for conducting a successful email campaign are omitted from it.

Moreover, if LinkedIn outreach is your primary intent, then you’ll have to cash out the most expensive plan since it’s the only one that includes the Chrome extension you need for Lemlist’s LinkedIn automation.

On the upside, there’s a 14-day free trial, and you don’t have to provide your credit card information during that period. Essentially, you get a free ride for 2 weeks so you can test everything out and see for yourself whether Lemlist gets the job done for you.

When is Lemlist the right Zopto alternative for you?

Lemlist beats Zopto by far when it comes to email outreach, as it offers plenty of options for personalizing emails, as well as keeping track of their landing spot and making sure they stay as far away from spam as possible.

That being said, if you’ve set your eyes on LinkedIn outreach alone, it would probably be wise to avoid Lemlist since LinkedIn outreach is one of its greatest weaknesses. The risk of being banned by LinkedIn for using an extension that isn’t all that good in the first place far outweighs the somewhat questionable benefits.

When it comes to pricing, although Lemlist has several plans, in the end, you’ll probably have to go with the more expensive ones, especially if you want an option for LinkedIn outreach.

Furthermore, if you want access to the most important trade secrets of the email outreach game, you’re going to have to shake out some extra cash on top of your subscription and enroll in a Lemlist masterclass.

Even so, Lemlist is still significantly cheaper than Zopto, so that’s something worth considering when deciding on a tool.

All in all, Lemlist is a great Zopto alternative if your marketing campaigns revolve primarily around cold emails and LinkedIn outreach only comes second. When taking care of your email deliverability and providing high opening rates is crucial to your business, Lemlist will shine at its brightest.

If, however, LinkedIn is your #1 platform of choice for sales outreach, then it would perhaps be best to go for some other tool from our list to stay on the safe side.

4. Meet Alfred: Best Zopto alternative for managing multi-channel campaigns

meet alfred dashbaord
Source: Meet Alfred

Meet Alfred, previously known as Meet Leonard, is a tool that’s supposed to ease your lead generation process through automation.

What makes Meet Alfred different from other tools is its capability of tackling several social media at once, so it’s a great option for multi-channel campaigns.

What Are The Pros of Meet Alfred?

Several of Meet Alfred’s features that are most worth noting are:

  • Excellent management of multi-channel campaigns, mainly if you aim to target several social media at once – it saves you valuable time it would take you to create each post manually. This way, you use one concept for everything from LinkedIn to Facebook, Instagram, and even Twitter;
  • Optimizing posts for different social media – Meet Alfred takes notice of the needs and prerequisites of each of these media when creating a post and makes sure to show you a preview before posting it;
  • Warm-up feature for both LinkedIn and email;
  • Safety – it’s cloud-based, and it has options for setting up limits and mimicking human activity.

What Are The Cons of Meet Alfred?

Meet Alfred comes with quite a few weak points as well:

  • Lousy customer support, which has been a pain in many a customer’s neck;
  • Unsatisfactory user experience, as the interface is far too complex – moreover, there’s been a report of false reviews on certain platforms, which raises additional flags when it comes to UX and UI;
  • It’s prone to crashing mid-task;
  • It has multiple bugs with campaigns which in effect render many of their neat features practically useless.

How much does Meet Alfred cost?

Meet Alfred pricing
Source: Meet Alfred

Meet Alfred comes with two different pricing plans:

  • Personal at $49 per month;
  • Business at $89 per month;

When billed annually, you get a discount.

Recently, Meet Alfred included an offer for obtaining Sales Navigator “at a price you can afford”, which comes at $39 per month. However, it’s hard to say just how legitimate – and safe – this offer really is.

There’s a 14-day free trial included – no credit card info required.

When is Meet Alfred the right Zopto alternative for you?

Meet Alfred is a fantastic tool when you need a multi-channel campaign with the main focus on social media such as Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, in addition to LinkedIn. Creating versatile posts for every media is easy-peasy with but a few clicks, which saves you a lot of time, and that’s a feature Zopto doesn’t offer.

In addition, Meet Alfred is much more affordable than Zopto, with additional discounts when billed annually.

However, customer support seems to be a nightmare at Meet Alfred, which is no small matter. Furthermore, even though neither Meet Alfred nor Zopto is top-notch when it comes to UX and UI, it’s hard not to notice that Meet Alfred has quite a few bugs, while Zopto has a more robust, seamless flow when put to action.

So, if your primary goal is creating a presence in multiple social media at once and managing multi-channel campaigns with as little time and effort invested, then Meet Alfred is the suitable Zopto alternative for your business.

So, how to choose the best Zopto alternative for your use case?

To wrap it all up and send you on your way, well equipped with all the info you’ll need to decide on an automation tool that will level up your LinkedIn sales outreach, here’s a short list of key takeaways:

  • If you need a tool that’s more than affordable and offers all the essential automation functions, and you’re prepared to take the risk of being banned by LinkedIn, then Linked Helper is your go-to Zopto alternative;
  • If your campaigns and outreach efforts are mainly focused on email prospecting, then Lemlist is the way to go, as this Zopto alternative offers plenty of features that ensure your emails will have a much higher opening rate. That being said, you should have in mind that Lemlist doesn’t really offer much when it comes to actual LinkedIn outreach;
  • If you’re intent on having multi-channel campaigns and tackling several social media at the same time as effortlessly as possible, then you should consider Meet Alfred as the best Zopto alternative to go with.
  • And if you want a solution that’s much more than just another automation tool, that has first-rate AI that delivers high-quality leads and dramatically increases your sales’ success while providing you with the best value for your money altogether, then you would be wise to give Salesrobot a try, as it’s the perfect Zopto alternative for you.

You could sign up for a free 14-day trial right now and see for yourself whether Sales Robot’s a match. And we won’t ask you for your credit card information – all you need to do is buckle up and enjoy the ride.
