TL;DR
- Sailes takes a different approach to sales automation. Its Sailebots are designed to handle much of the prospecting process, from researching companies and finding decision-makers to enriching data, writing and sending outreach, following up, handling replies, and booking meetings.
- Each rep gets a personalized Sailebot trained around their ICP, territory, messaging style, and requirements.
- Sailes claims its Sailebots can produce 16x the output of a human sales rep and replace six or more prospecting tools. Those are company claims, not independent benchmarks.
- Best for: Enterprise sales teams looking to automate a substantial part of prospecting.
- Pricing: Sailes doesn't publish standard pricing. The company directs prospects toward a custom demo.
- Alternative: If you mainly need LinkedIn and email outreach rather than an autonomous prospecting system, SalesRobot is a more focused option. It combines multi-step outreach, AI personalization, AI-assisted conversations, voice and video messaging, and MCP support.
What Is Sailes?

Sailes is an AI-powered sales prospecting platform built around something it calls Sailebots.
The basic idea is pretty simple. Instead of giving every salesperson another six dashboards to stare at, give them an AI that does the prospecting work for them.

Sailebot can research companies, identify decision-makers, find and clean contact data, generate messaging, send emails, follow up, read replies, handle objections, engage prospects on LinkedIn, and eventually surface qualified opportunities for the salesperson.
So this isn't really an "AI email writer" or "LinkedIn automation tool." Instead, it's trying to be much closer to a digital prospecting employee.
Sailes calls this Digital Labor, which is its term for having AI take over repetitive prospecting work while human salespeople focus on conversations and closing deals.
And honestly, that's a much more interesting proposition than yet another tool promising to write a slightly less boring cold email.
How Does Sailebot Work?

The first thing that makes Sailes different is that the company doesn't treat AI as one generic assistant shared by everyone.
Each salesperson gets their own Sailebot.
You define the persona, ICP, targeting requirements, value proposition, and other parameters, then train the bot around how you want it to prospect.
Sailes says the Sailebot continues learning as it works, gathering information from its interactions and using those insights to improve future prospecting.
You're not simply automating the steps between prospecting tasks. Sailes is trying to automate the prospecting process itself.
The Personalization Is More Than First Name + Company

This is probably one of the more interesting parts of the product.
Sailes says every Sailebot is personalized to the salesperson it represents, including their communication style, territory, requirements, and targeting criteria.
So rather than having one generic AI SDR send identical messaging across an entire sales organization, the idea is that every rep effectively gets their own AI prospecting counterpart.
Conceptually, it's a much more interesting approach than simply inserting an AI-written sentence into an existing sales sequence.
What Can a Sailebot Actually Do?

Sailes has packed a lot into the prospecting workflow, but the important capabilities are fairly easy to understand.
Research: Research companies, identify relevant accounts, and find decision-makers.
Data: Source, clean, enrich, and validate contact information.
Content: Generate personalized sales messaging based on the rep, ICP, value proposition, and prospect.
Outreach: Engage prospects through email and LinkedIn.
Follow-up: Continue conversations rather than stopping after the first message.
Qualification: Read responses, handle objections, and identify prospects that are ready for a salesperson.
Meetings: Propose and schedule meetings when a prospect becomes qualified.
Sailes also says Sailebots can work with multiple databases and data providers, including LinkedIn and third-party lead-generation sources, without requiring customers to purchase all of those subscriptions separately.
AiQLs: What You Actually Get Back

Sailes has its own terminology here too.
When a Sailebot finds a prospect that matches the ICP, has been qualified, and is ready for human attention, it creates what Sailes calls an AiQL, or AI Qualified Lead.
The point is that the salesperson shouldn't have to sift through hundreds of "maybe" leads.
The Sailebot is supposed to do the research and qualification first, then hand over an actionable opportunity.
Sailes says AiQLs can also include meeting preparation information, such as company news and other contextual details, so the salesperson has useful background before the meeting.
That's a much more useful output than simply dumping another CSV into your CRM.
Starboard: The Control Center

Sailes' management platform is called Starboard.
This is where sales leaders can onboard their team, create and configure Sailebots, train them, deploy campaigns, monitor activity, and see the work being done across the organization.
The company describes Starboard as an AI-native CRM and a central command center for managing your "fleet" of Sailebots.
That fleet terminology is admittedly very Sailes. They really committed to the nautical theme.

But beneath the branding, the key point is that managers aren't expected to simply switch the bots on and hope for the best. There are controls for targeting, training, activity, and reporting.
Sailes also highlights real-time visibility into prospecting activity, labor savings, and ROI.
Can Sailes Actually Replace SDR Work?
Sailes positions Sailebots as Digital Labor, claiming they can produce the output of multiple SDRs. Its website cites figures such as 16x the output of a human sales rep, but those are Sailes' own claims, not independent benchmarks.
What the product actually tries to automate is much broader than a typical sales sequencer.
A Sailebot can research accounts, find decision-makers, source and enrich contact data, write and send outreach, follow up, read replies, handle objections, and identify when a prospect is ready for a human salesperson.
The G2 reviews suggest that this can genuinely save time, but the results aren't uniformly perfect. Sailes currently has 4.3/5 from 216 G2 reviews, with users frequently praising its lead-generation capabilities, time savings, automation, and customer support.

The recurring complaints are just as important. Some users say the leads aren't always specific enough or don't match their ideal customer, while others mention a learning curve, setup difficulties, and AI-generated messages that can sometimes feel generic or poorly targeted.

So I'd be careful with the phrase "replace your SDRs." Sailes clearly automates a substantial amount of SDR-style work, but the quality of the output still depends on how well the system is configured and how closely its targeting matches your ICP.
That's probably the more realistic way to look at it: Sailes can take a lot of repetitive prospecting work off a sales team's plate, but it doesn't make human oversight magically unnecessary.
Sailes Pricing
Here's one downside for anyone who likes to compare SaaS tools in a spreadsheet at 2 AM.
Sailes doesn't publish standard pricing.
The current website directs prospective customers toward a custom demo and emphasizes enterprise sales teams.
This is an enterprise sales product, and its pricing appears to be tied to the size and requirements of the organization rather than a simple per-seat subscription.
So if you're a solo founder looking for something to automate 50 LinkedIn messages a day, this is probably considerably more machinery than you need.
Sailes and SalesRobot: Different Tools, Different Roles

This is where the distinction becomes especially useful.
Sailes: Think autonomous prospecting. It is designed to go from market research and contact discovery all the way through engagement, qualification, and meeting handoff.
SalesRobot: Think automated outreach and engagement. It focuses more tightly on LinkedIn and email campaigns, personalization, AI-assisted conversations, voice and video messages, and meeting booking.
So if you want an AI system that essentially says "find me qualified opportunities and bring them to me," Sailes is built around that idea.
If you already have your prospect list and want "help me reach these people, follow up, personalize the messages, and book meetings," SalesRobot is the more focused workflow.
What SalesRobot Does
Mobile API Safety: Because SalesRobot connects through LinkedIn's mobile APIs, your outreach activity mimics natural human behavior.
Users consistently report running sustained, high-volume campaigns without account flags or restrictions, which is the single biggest operational concern with any LinkedIn automation tool.

AI Appointment Setter: After a prospect replies, SalesRobot's AI takes over the conversation, handles qualification questions, and books meetings automatically.
You can train it on your specific criteria and ideal responses, which means the early-stage pipeline management largely runs without manual involvement. For smaller teams without a dedicated SDR, this is a meaningful capability.

AI Voice Clone and Video Messages: SalesRobot lets you send personalized voice notes and video messages through LinkedIn as part of automated sequences.
The AI Voice Clone feature lets you record a short voice sample once, then generates individualized voice notes for each prospect that sound like you, without recording each one manually.
In sectors where relationships and trust matter, this kind of personal touch at scale tends to drive significantly higher reply rates than text-only outreach.

AI Variables and Hyper-Personalization: SalesRobot pulls data directly from a prospect's LinkedIn profile to write personalized message sequences automatically. You are not working from a static template that gets blasted to everyone.
Each message is adapted to the individual, which matters when you are reaching decision makers who see generic outreach constantly.

Multi-Step Sequences: You can build complex LinkedIn and email campaigns with smart delays and behavioral conditions. Leads can be imported from Sales Navigator, standard LinkedIn search, LinkedIn groups, event attendees, or CSV uploads, giving you flexibility in how you build and target your prospect lists.

Unified Inbox and Mini CRM: All LinkedIn and email conversations consolidate in one place with automatic reply detection. SalesRobot stops messaging automatically when a prospect responds, preventing the over-automation feel that kills conversations.
You can tag leads, filter by interest level, and track where every prospect sits without switching between platforms.
MCP support: SalesRobot can also connect with AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude through MCP, allowing you to manage campaigns, import prospects, check accounts, and work with LinkedIn conversations using natural-language commands instead of constantly switching between tools.
Team Management and Analytics: For agencies or sales teams managing multiple LinkedIn accounts, SalesRobot tracks performance across accounts, prevents duplicate outreach between team members, and surfaces detailed analytics on what sequences and approaches are actually working.
SalesRobot pricing (per LinkedIn account, 14-day free trial, no credit card required):
- Basic: $59/month ($39/month billed annually).
- Advanced: $79/month ($59/month billed annually).
- Professional: $99/month ($79/month billed annually).
- Enterprise: Custom.

It also has a 4.8 rating on G2, with 50+ independent user reviews.
What About Kuron?

And this is where things get even more interesting.
The idea is to move beyond simply giving sales teams another database or another outreach dashboard and have AI help with the broader go-to-market process.
Kuron is an AI-powered GTM platform from the very team behind SalesRobot, built around a slightly different idea: instead of giving sales teams another tool to operate, why not have AI actually run the outbound process?
The idea came from the founders' experience running SalesRobot and working with outbound teams.
They found that the hard part wasn't simply sending more messages. Good outbound depends on knowing who to target, which signals matter, how to approach different buyers, when to follow up, and when to leave someone alone.
Kuron is being built to capture that kind of decision-making.
That includes figuring out who your best-fit customers are, which segment makes the most sense, what strategy to use, and how to actually execute the outbound process.
Kuron is currently on a waitlist, so it's not something I'd treat as a drop-in Sailes replacement today.
But conceptually, Kuron is chasing a similar larger question:
What happens when AI stops being a tool inside your sales process and starts running more of the process itself?
Instead of: "Here's a database. Good luck."
The goal is increasingly: "Here's the outcome you want. Let the AI figure out more of the work in between."
The distinction is important.
SalesRobot is about turning prospects into conversations and meetings.
Kuron is trying to bring more of those pieces together into an AI-powered GTM workflow.
Who Is Sailes Best For?
Sailes makes the most sense for enterprise sales teams, large outbound teams, and organizations with complex ICPs that want to automate a substantial amount of prospect research, data enrichment, outreach, follow-up, and qualification.
Its biggest appeal is the ability to merge several prospecting tools into one system while giving sales leaders visibility through Starboard and qualified opportunities through AiQLs.
The tradeoff is that this is probably overkill for a solo founder or small team that simply needs LinkedIn and email automation.
Sailes also doesn't publish standard pricing, and its autonomous approach means you'll need a well-defined ICP and some oversight to get the best results.
Teams that want granular control over every individual outreach step may prefer a more focused tool.
In short: Sailes is compelling if you want AI to handle a large chunk of the prospecting process. If you just want to automate your outreach, you probably don't need a digital navy to send 40 cold emails.
Final Verdict
Sailes is built for sales teams that want to automate almost the entire prospecting process. Sailebots can handle research, finding contacts, outreach, follow-ups, qualification, and handoff, taking a lot of repetitive work off SDRs.
The catch is that you may not need that much automation.
Sailes makes the most sense for larger teams with complex sales processes. If you want more control over your messaging and campaigns, a more focused outreach platform may be a better fit.
That’s where SalesRobot comes in.
Instead of replacing your entire sales workflow, it takes care of the parts reps hate doing manually: finding prospects, personalizing messages, running LinkedIn and email sequences, following up, and managing replies.
You still decide who you want to target and how you want to sell, while SalesRobot handles the repetitive work in the background.
