TL;DR:

If you've landed here because you're trying to figure out whether ExactBuyer is worth using in 2026, there's something you should know before you read another word:

SalesRobot: If you're looking for the outreach side of the sales workflow, SalesRobot combines LinkedIn and email automation with AI personalization, multi-step sequences, a unified inbox, and an AI Appointment Setter that can handle conversations and work toward booking meetings.

MCP support: SalesRobot can also connect with AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude through MCP, allowing you to manage campaigns, import prospects, check accounts, and work with LinkedIn conversations using natural-language commands instead of constantly switching between tools.

Pricing: Plans start at $59/month per LinkedIn account, with a 14-day free trial and no credit card required.

Best for: B2B teams, agencies, and solo operators who want prospecting, outreach, follow-ups, and AI-assisted conversation management in one workflow.

What Exactly Was ExactBuyer?

An ExactBuyer promotional graphic showing a mobile browser extension interface for finding business contacts.

ExactBuyer was a B2B data and prospecting platform built around contact discovery, company data, enrichment, and AI-powered prospect search.

Its most interesting feature was probably its AI Search.

Instead of forcing users to build increasingly complicated filter combinations, ExactBuyer let them describe the kind of prospects they were looking for using natural language.

You could then use the resulting data to find contacts, enrich existing records, build targeted audiences, and move information into your broader sales workflow.

Essentially: Describe your ideal prospects → find them → enrich the data → start outreach.

So, if you've been clicking around old ExactBuyer reviews, stumbling across pricing pages that still somehow load, and wondering where on earth the actual website went… don't worry, you're not losing it.

You're just looking at digital ghosts of a tool that already had its funeral.

Instead, let's focus on what actually matters: what ExactBuyer did, why people loved it, and where you should look today to get similar results.

What Did ExactBuyer Actually Do?

ExactBuyer was a B2B prospecting and data platform built around AI-powered search, contact and company data, enrichment, audience building, and CRM/API integrations.

Its most interesting feature was AI Search, which let users describe the kind of companies or contacts they wanted instead of manually building endless filter combinations.

G2 reviews praised the conversational search and prospecting experience, although some users mentioned a learning curve, occasional technical issues, and limitations with very narrow targeting.

Old ExactBuyer pricing pages still show plans ranging from $99 to $999/month, but these are historical prices, not current offers.

The same goes for its old 4.8/5 G2 rating: useful for understanding what customers thought of the product, but not evidence that the platform is still operating.

And that's really all you need to know about ExactBuyer's feature set in 2026. It was a prospecting and data tool; it had some genuinely useful ideas, and it's now gone.

What Should You Use Instead?

This depends on which part of ExactBuyer you actually needed.

If you're looking for an active replacement for ExactBuyer's prospecting and data capabilities, a few tools are worth checking out:

Clay: Clay is more than a lead database. It combines data from multiple providers with enrichment, AI research, scoring, and workflow automation, so you can build fairly sophisticated prospecting systems instead of relying on one static source. Its current platform also supports AI agents and natural-language workflows.

AI Ark: AI Ark focuses on large-scale B2B data and prospect discovery, with 400M+ people and 70M+ companies in its database. It offers verified contact enrichment, lookalike and signal-based company discovery, and can be used through its API, MCP server, or Clay integrations.

Prospeo: Prospeo combines B2B prospect search with email and phone enrichment. You can build lists using filters for things like job title, technology, funding, hiring, job changes, and buyer intent, then export or push those leads into your CRM or outreach tools.

GetLeads.io: GetLeads takes a more AI-native approach, giving Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools access to a large B2B contact database through API and MCP connections. It's particularly interesting if you want to tell an AI agent something like "find companies that match this ICP" and have it handle the research instead of working through another dashboard.

But if your workflow looked more like:

Find prospects → contact them → personalize the outreach → follow up → book meetings

then you're dealing with a bigger sales workflow than just data.

And that's where SalesRobot comes in.

SalesRobot: What Happens After You Find the Prospect?

A SalesRobot landing page showing features for automating LinkedIn and cold email outreach.

SalesRobot isn't a direct replacement for ExactBuyer, and it's important not to pretend it is.

ExactBuyer was primarily a prospecting and data platform.

SalesRobot is primarily an outreach and engagement platform.

Once you've found the right people, SalesRobot is designed to help you actually reach them through LinkedIn and email, automate follow-ups, personalize messages, manage replies, and move interested prospects toward meetings.

What SalesRobot Does

Mobile API Safety: Because SalesRobot connects through LinkedIn's mobile APIs, your outreach activity mimics natural human behavior.

Users consistently report running sustained, high-volume campaigns without account flags or restrictions, which is the single biggest operational concern with any LinkedIn automation tool.

AI Appointment Setter: After a prospect replies, SalesRobot's AI takes over the conversation, handles qualification questions, and books meetings automatically.

You can train it on your specific criteria and ideal responses, which means the early-stage pipeline management largely runs without manual involvement. For smaller teams without a dedicated SDR, this is a meaningful capability.

AI Voice Clone and Video Messages: SalesRobot lets you send personalized voice notes and video messages through LinkedIn as part of automated sequences.

The AI Voice Clone feature lets you record a short voice sample once, then generates individualized voice notes for each prospect that sound like you, without recording each one manually.

In sectors where relationships and trust matter, this kind of personal touch at scale tends to drive significantly higher reply rates than text-only outreach.

AI Variables and Hyper-Personalization: SalesRobot pulls data directly from a prospect's LinkedIn profile to write personalized message sequences automatically. You are not working from a static template that gets blasted to everyone.

Each message is adapted to the individual, which matters when you are reaching decision makers who see generic outreach constantly.

Multi-Step Sequences: You can build complex LinkedIn and email campaigns with smart delays and behavioral conditions. Leads can be imported from Sales Navigator, standard LinkedIn search, LinkedIn groups, event attendees, or CSV uploads, giving you flexibility in how you build and target your prospect lists.

Unified Inbox and Mini CRM: All LinkedIn and email conversations consolidate in one place with automatic reply detection. SalesRobot stops messaging automatically when a prospect responds, preventing the over-automation feel that kills conversations.

You can tag leads, filter by interest level, and track where every prospect sits without switching between platforms.

Team Management and Analytics: For agencies or sales teams managing multiple LinkedIn accounts, SalesRobot tracks performance across accounts, prevents duplicate outreach between team members, and surfaces detailed analytics on what sequences and approaches are actually working.

SalesRobot pricing (per LinkedIn account, 14-day free trial, no credit card required):

  • Basic: $59/month ($39/month billed annually).
  • Advanced: $79/month ($59/month billed annually).
  • Professional: $99/month ($79/month billed annually).
  • Enterprise: Custom.

It also has a 4.8 rating on G2, with 50+ independent user reviews.

What About Kuron?

A website landing page for Kuron asking if the user is getting revenue from cold outreach with a call to action to join the waitlist.

And this is where things get more interesting.

If ExactBuyer represented the older idea of "give me better data so I can find the right prospects," Kuron is aiming at something much broader.

Kuron is an AI-powered GTM platform from the very team behind SalesRobot. The idea is to move beyond simply giving sales teams another database or another outreach dashboard and have AI help with the broader go-to-market process.

That includes figuring out who your best-fit customers are, which segment makes the most sense, what strategy to use, and how to actually execute the outbound process.

Kuron is currently on a waitlist, so it's not something I'd treat as a drop-in ExactBuyer replacement today.

But it's worth watching because it represents a pretty significant shift in where sales software is heading.

Instead of: "Here's a database. Good luck."

The goal is increasingly: "Here's the outcome you want. Let the AI figure out more of the work in between."

The distinction is important.

ExactBuyer was about finding and understanding your market.

SalesRobot is about turning prospects into conversations and meetings.

Kuron is trying to bring more of those pieces together into an AI-powered GTM workflow.

Final Verdict

A meme featuring Baby Yoda sipping tea with the text "Final Verdict" above it.

ExactBuyer had a genuinely interesting proposition: use AI and rich B2B data to make prospect discovery more targeted and less dependent on endless database filters.

But in 2026, it's a historical product, not a buying option. The company shut down recently, and the website is no longer available, even though old pricing and product pages may still appear in search results.

If you need to replace the data and enrichment side of ExactBuyer, look for an active B2B data provider that matches the specific features you relied on.

If you already have the prospects and need to turn them into conversations and meetings, SalesRobot is addressing that next stage of the workflow.

And if you're interested in where the whole thing is going next, Kuron is one to watch. It's still in beta, but its approach points toward a future where AI doesn't just find leads or write messages, but helps manage much more of the GTM process.
